This is the top cuvée of the estate. It is made with our best Aglianico grapes. The grapes are selected after several passages in the vineyards. Selvanova ferments in a big oak cask for about 2 weeks; it is then racked in barriques to burn the last grams of sugar and to develope malolactic. It aged 23 months in oak and is bottled unfiltered. |

| Commentary: |
This is what Aglianico can express when it is properly conducted. Full bodied but not overwhelming, extremely fresh and complex, deep and long; it lingers with ashes and wild stone fruits hints. This wine can easily age for 20-25 years. Chapeau ! |
