Winemaking: grapes are hand picked and selected; bad berries are discarded. Fermentation takes place in a steel tank with temperature controlled within 25 °C; macerations lasts about 12 days. Aged in barrels for 16 months. Unfiltered
Ageing: 16 months in barrels; 6 months in bottle
Total Production: 3000 bottles
Commentary: This gorgeous Aglianico proves once more that this great grape is second only to Nebbiolo (in Italy). Deep aromas of blackberries, wild plum, tobacco; freshness and minerality in the mouth with an amazing velvety touch. Chapeau !
