The Estate

This wonderful estate lies on Punta Tresino, Santa Maria di Castellabate, some 50 km south of Salerno, close to the magnificent Paestum Greek temples. Punta Tresino is a breathtaking cape facing northwest towards Costiera Amalfitana; in a bright day you can clearly see Amalfi, Positano and Capri . The vineyards (planted in the 80’s) cling on the coastline 60 meters above sea level. Total surface is about 2.5 ha (90% Fiano, 7% Greco, 3% Trebbiano), which produce as low as 13000 bottles.

Philosophy

The old house and the cellar has been restored respecting the traditional Cilento building system; electrical power is generated by a big photovoltaic system, and the vineyards are cultivated without using any kind of synthetical anti-pest or chemical compounds. The estate is totally organic.

The People

Mario Corrado is an architect with a great passion for wine and country life. Ida, his wife, is a lawyer who share the same passion and makes Mario's vision a dream came true.
