The Estate

Reale produces some of the finest wines from Puglia. The winery is located in the heart of the ‘Salento’ production area (south Apulia), on 250 hectares (600 acres) planted with Negroamaro, Primitivo and Chardonnay. The landscape is flat and generous, rich in calcaire and orange coloured. The climate is typically Mediterranean with brief and rainy winters, long dry summers and constant breezes.

Philosophy

The rationale is to produce good quality / price wines, trying to enhance the varietal aromas and preserving the freshness of the fruit.

The People

The Reale family has owned the property for over one hundred years and has been making wine since the early 20th century. Amedeo Reale is in charge for the managing of the estate
