The Estate

The Palazzolo family bought the estate in 1963. These vineyards were already renowned for the extraordinary quality of red and white wines here produced. In recent years Serena Palazzolo has pushed the production into an even higher level of quality with an uncompromising philosophy of natural viticulture and low yealds. The main quality of her wines is in their ageing potential giving astonishing drinking experiences also in white wines of 10 years or more

Philosophy

All white wines are barrel fermented with an extremely careful use of oak, grapes are picked at full maturity, but never overripe. Rich fruit perfectly combined with bright acidity is the character of all the whites. The reds are conceived in a classic Bordeaux style made of austere tannins and great ageing potential

The People

Serena took full responsability of production in the early nineties, focusing her energies in restoring all vines and in replanting only clones previously selected in the estate
