The vineyards are planted on very steep terraces, facing south, between 40 an 100 meters above seal level: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. Valnogaredo is a very peculiar terroir inside the Colli Euganei appellation, since it is characterized by very rocky and shallow soils made mostly of limestones and clay, with hot climate, but very good temperature excursions during the ripening period, These conditions give rise to full bodied wines, with beautifully ripe fruit, but never heavy or monolitic.
Each place has its own unique characteristics . A good wine must reflect the interaction between the grape variety and the place. Each single choice in the vineyard has to be driven by this rationale
